Say Goodbye to Webspam!

Say Goodbye to Webspam!

In the next few days, Google will launch The Webspam Algorithm Update. The update will zero in on people who purposely go against Google’s publisher guidelines, in order to rank better in the search results.
The Webspam Algorithm Update will target:

  • Keyword Stuffing
  • Link Schemes
  • Cloaking, “sneaky” redirects or “doorway” pages
  • Purposeful Duplicate Content

Google has cautioned that optimization is encouraged, but spam is not. Advice from Google is to “focus on creating high quality sites that create a good user experience and employ white hat SEO methods instead of engaging in aggressive webspam tactics.”
